The Hague is a town on the North Sea in the western part of the Netherlands. The so-called Binnenhof, built in Gothic style, is a complex of buildings and the seat of the Dutch government. The 16th century Paleis Noordeinde is the seat of the Royal Family. The Hague is also home to the International Court of Justice of the United Nations, with its seat in the Palace of Peace (Vredespaleis), and the International Criminal Court.
