Fairs and congresses in Prag, Tschechische Republik

Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, is home to 1.2 million people – 40,000 of them are living in the historical old town. The “Golden City” looks back on many centuries of intense history and the old defensive walls and towers have survived various lootings and wars. These can be viewed in the popular old town – the Prague Castle, the Old and New Cities, the Lesser Town and Josefov, the former Jewish Quarter. Prague can easily be reached by plane; the airport is 15 kilometers west of the city. Alternatives are travelling by bus, train or car. Sights that should not be missed in Prague are the Castle, the Lesser Town with its palaces and churches and, of course, Charles Bridge.
