Fairs and congresses in Leipzig, Deutschland

The fair and culture city of Leipzig is situated in Saxony and has around 530,000 inhabitants. After Frankfurt/Main and Munich, Leipzig is the third important banking city in Germany. Sights of the “book city” include the Old Town Hall, one of the most beautiful buildings dating from the Renaissance, the baroque King’s House on the south side of the market square, the Alte Waage as well as the late Gothic Thomaskirche. The international Thomaschor – a world-famous choir – stems from here. Other sights of Leipzig are the Bach Museum, the Alte Börse and the Museum of Visual Arts. Leipzig’s main station is the largest European head station. The Leipziger Messe counts among the most modern and architecturally appealing centers for trade shows and congresses in all of Europe. It is situated near the airport and connected by two motorways.
