The city that is located on Ireland’s east coast is the central area of the Irish government and the Irish judiciary. The city has developed greatly during the past two decades and has risen from a brewery metropolis to an economic center, in which the European headquarters of Google, Microsoft and Facebook are located. In addition, the banking sector is of high importance to Dublin. The city is world-famous for its vibrant pub scene; especially the pubs of Temple Bar are popular with both inhabitants and tourists. The city is internationally connected via the airport in Dublin’s north.
