Fairs and congresses in Dubai, Vereinigte Arabische Emirate

Dubai, the capital of the same-named emirate, is the largest city of the United Arab Emirates. The city has roughly 2.3 million inhabitants (as of 2017). Since it is located on the Persian Gulf, the city is the emirate’s economic, cultural, political and social center as well as one of the most exciting destinations for the 14 million tourists visiting Dubai every year. Accordingly, there is much to see here. Besides impressive skyscrapers with highly contemporary architecture, particularly Burj Khalifa, the city is also culturally attractive. Popular sights are the Jumeirah Mosque, the Dubai Museum and the Madinat Theatre, just to name a few. Dubai is one of the most spectacular cities in the world and offers its visitors a fascinating combination of history and the modern world. The city has international connections via its International Airport about five kilometers southeast of Dubai. It is also the home airport of the Emirates airline and is served by almost all larger airlines. It is one of the three largest airports in the world and the most important one in the Middle East.
